Total Commander is a file manager for Windows with a dual directory browser. It shows two folders side by side, which makes it easy to copy and movie files between them.

This program can be used to open and extract data from various archive formats including ZIP, 7ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, and ACE. Total Commander also features an FTP client with FXP (server to server) and HTTP proxy support.

The PROS list above is very short. It's the best file manager ever built. After you get used to it, you get things done very quicky and you'll miss it when you don't have it. Please, port it to mac! It's worth every penny.

Absolutely indispensable on a Windows PC. I'd feel lost without it.
