Compare directories by content Total Commander

The unique two-window interface functionality of Total Commander provides not only the ability to compare selected files, but also the option to compare entire folders by the content inside them. This can be done with the help of a named 'Synchronize dirs' which puts two directories in sync so that they can be compared.

  • Select the folders which you want to compare.
  • Go to 'Commands' > 'Synchronize dirs' > 'Subdirs' > 'By content' >'Compare'.
